“I will not put Badal’s in jail”, said Amarinder Singh
Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh gave a shocking statement on 1984 anti-Sikh riots while addressing a rally in Nabha, Punjab.
While talking to the reporters after an election rally in favor of Congress candidate Maharani Preneet Kaur, Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh has said that five people of Congress were a part of 1984 anti-Sikh riots. While the rest of the rioters came to the people of Bharatiya Janta Party.
“There were 22 BJP workers who were a part of that extremist incident”, said Captain.
He said that when this unfortunate event happened, he was there with his brother to look after victims in the camps in Delhi for four days.
Captain said 1984 anti-Sikh riots took place on a large scale, which had no relation with any party or some people.
When a reporter asked CM that when he will send Badal’s in jail, Capt Amarinder said, “I will not send anyone in jail, I have said it 10 times that we have a system, and the constitution is the law.”
“We’ve created the SIT and that will be done first, and then the report will be presented in court, and after that the accused will be sent to court.”Captain added.
