Aam Adami Party’s Punjab unit Core Committee has rubbished the claim of Kanwar Sandhu and Sukhpal Singh Khaira that they are going to send them a notice.
Head of the core committee, Budh Ram, cleared that suspension of two rebels from the party was a constitutional step.
Khaira and Sandhu in a press conference held at Chandigarh yesterday claimed that they are going to issue a notice to the core committee regarding their illegal suspension.
The core committee today cleared out the air saying that this legal notice thing is unconstitutional and there is no way of that they could be held down with these warnings.
Chairperson of the Committee, Sadhu Ram said, “Khaira has just been bewildered by his suspension, his allegations and claims are baseless.”
Taking the higher route against Khaira, Ram claimed that Khaira and Sandhu were the ones who were indulging in the anti-party activities, “Who is he to send us the notice and on what grounds?”
Throwing the whole thing on PAC of the party, Sadhu claimed that the action was taken on the recommendation of the political action committee.
“That is why they cannot take any legal actions against us,” asserted Ram.
