A big announcement has today been made by a senior leader of Shiromani Akali Dal regarding the availability of party head, Sukhbir Singh Badal in this term’s general elections.
In an interview given to a private news channel, senior Akali Leader, Balwinder Singh Bhoondar has claimed that ‘Pardhan Ji’ is thinking about skipping these Lok Sabha elections.
When he was asked about Sukhbir Badal’s hints of contesting in General Elections, Bhoondar replied by saying, “You people must have misinterpreted his words, he never hinted of participating in Lok Sabha elections.”
Talking about the mysterious seat of Sangrur which is empty after a long time after the alleged retirement of Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, this senior Akali Leader declared that Sukhdev’s son, Parminder Singh Dhindsa is a strong contender of the post.
“He till date has not indulged into any anti-party activity, he has got the name of a prestigious family of the area too, indeed he is a strong competitor of the Sangrur seat”, added Balwinder Singh.
At the moment two seats are most important for the Akali Dal, which are like a ‘Mucch Da Swaal” for them, Sangrur and Bathinda those seats are for SAD.
Where from Bathinda, Khaira will be giving SAD blunt blows, from Sangrur, Bhagwant Mann will be a hard one to swallow.
Congress shall not be much bigger a problem, but in Indian elections you never know.
