Even though chances of his release shall still going to be very fade, still there will be a little ray of hope for Sajjan;s family that judges may release him.
For now the Supreme Court said that the hearing on Sajjan Kumar’s bail application will now be heard in August.
The CBI has opposed the bail application of former Congress leader Sajjan Kumar, who is serving life sentence for rioting in Delhi and killing five Sikh youths.
CBI said that the crime against Sajjan Kumar has been proved and other cases against Sajjan are in progress, even before, he has obstructed CBI’s work.
The Apex Court, hearing the petition, said, “We will now hear the case in August.”
