Meanwhile, Canada, Mexico and other huge vehicle and auto parts exporting companies of the world are planning to impose tariff when it comes to sending things to the USA.
As per media reports Japan and the European Union organised the meeting for Tuesday in Geneva, where vice and deputy ministers from Canada, the EU, Japan and South Korea are invited to talk about the punishing tolls threatened by the U.S.
According to the reports in the media, deputy international trade minister Timothy Sargent will represent Canada in this meeting.
Earlier US President Donald Trump threatened the world to impose tariffs under section 232, which allows the president to impose duties under the concept that imported things are indeed a threat to national security.
Thanks to the law mentioned above Trump forced heavy duties on aluminium and steel imports from the neighbouring country of Canada, on which now th government said will take the “necessary steps.”
