Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh did not arrive at the chairmanship meeting which was held at the Punjab Bhawan. Akali Dal’s MLA Pawan Kumar Tinu, BJP MLA Som Parkash and Aam Aadmi Party MLA Buda Ram also walked out of the meeting because of lack of merger in the meeting.
Congress leader Samsher Singh said about this matter that Captain Amarinder Singh did not reach in the meeting of MP before as well. He said that there are a lot of problems in the Dalit community of Punjab whose solutions need to be taken seriously. The Chief Minister should have attended the meeting in this regard. If he had a problem then he could have been there before the meeting.
In this matter, Manpreet Singh Badal said that he had very much to say that the meeting was not to be dismissed. He said that whatever the problems Dalit community has, they will be resolved in every way. But, the only reason Captain could not come was his bad health.
The remaining MLAs who finished the meeting said that the Chief Minister is not working properly. He is neither serious about Punjab nor he has any concern for the Dalits. Those Commissioners who have been working in the previous government and the chairman are no admittance. Now it seems that there is no thing called the government. (By-PriyadeepKaur)
