Akal Takht, the Supreme Court of Sikhs, has commanded Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee to make sure the pardoning of Balwant Singh Rajoana will take place before 2019.
There are only a handful of people in this world who still believes that Shiromani Akali Dal, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and Akal Takht are autonomy bodies and these will be people who will go direct to heaven for their pure souls and ignorance, remember ignorance is bliss?
These are obviously interconnected organizations which work for each other’s benefit.
The pardoning plea of Balwant Singh Rajoana submitted by the SGPC, is still pending at the President’s office from last six years.
State of Punjab was put on high alert when, last in year 2012 Rajoana’s hanging was expected, but giving the excuse of peace and riots SGPC and then in power SAD government took a stay on his capital punishment.
As per the reports, five Sikh priests (Punj Pyare), including the Akal Takht’s temporary head, Gyani Harpreet Singh, asked to take all the necessary steps for the release of Rajoana.
“The release is must before the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak, when ironically another politically motivated step, the opening of Kartarpur Corridor will take place.
Rajoana was awarded death penalty by the special court of CBI on 1st August 2007 for participating in the assassination plan of ex-CM of Punjab Beant Singh.
