“Jabe Baan Lageyo, Tabe Ros Jayego” (Anger always emerges, when you are provoked), this sentence from Guru Granth Sahib, can surely be used for Punjab’s Local Bodies Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu.
Sidhu himself indirectly and his wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu directly was involved in the Dussera train tragedy of last week.
So, just like any good husband the Cabinet Minister has started doing everything to save Mrs. Sidhu from getting the whole blame of the blood bath.
After the Indian Railways handed a clean chit to the local pilot, Sidhu’s anger busted like a bubble and smashed the railways left, right and center.
Navjot Singh asked how can a person involved in such a heinous accident as Amritsar’s?
The ex-cricketer was so furious that he raised questions on the working and intentions of Indian Railways, he asked, ” they can stop trains for cows but if they find a person on railway track, he is booked under CRPC?”
“The train which ran over people was running with the speed of 100 km/h, why they did not stop the train?” questioned a surprised Sidhu.
