In one of the many car accident which takes place in India daily, an NRI has been killed in Mohali’s sector 78.
As per the initial information received from various news sources, the NRI is identified as fifty years old, Sanjeev Kumar, a resident of England.
Kumar was reportedly in India to visit his sister, from whom house he was returning, when his car was hit by another car.
Some of the people present at the scene are claiming that the car was driven by SHO of Fatehgrah Sahib’s police station, Atul Soni’s son, Somal Soni.
Local police are claiming that they have taken the dead body of Sajiv Kumar into their custody and have sent it to civil hospital for postmortem.
Kumar’s family are said to be on the way and could be reaching India by tomorrow night.
