A powerful storm is hammering parts of California triggering mudslides, flash floods, and river rescues, and it is highly concerned in some of the areas that have been burned recently by the wildfires.

A wave of mud washing down roads in Southern California, a powerful storm is turning city streets into rushing rivers as flash flooding left drivers under water.

With snowfall outside Los Angeles forced in the closure of busy interstate highway and a mudslide shut down the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.

Just as drenching road turns roads deadly, a Southwest plane in Burbank skidded off the runway.

No injury after grinding to a halt in an area designed to stop runway aircraft.

Now after river rescuers in Los Angeles, the authorities are warning – hills just scorched by fire could crumble after so much rain.
