Shiromani Akali Dal just like every political party in Punjab is suffering a ship wreck at the moment.
One by one many senior leaders of the all blue SAD has abdicated their duties handed by the party.
The new addition to the list is the former General Secretary of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Manjit Singh Sirsa.
Sirsa actually renounced his seat on his disagreement with the party over the reappointment of a General Manager of the party’s Delhi unit.
There are two alleged reasons behind the resignation of Sirsa, one is the recalling of suspended GM, Ranjit Singh Soobedar and other is his problems with the DSGMC’s head, Manjit Singh GK.
Manjit Sirsa has today announced that until the Soobedar is suspended or fired permanently.
Previously, Manjit Singh GK from the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee, Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa and Bhrampura, Ranjit Singh Bramhpura and many other Akalis from Punjab have resigned from their posts too.
