When two elephants fight, only the grass is crushed, and when two politicians fight only the people are affected.
With the globalization and evolution of postmodern times, meaning of cold war has changed drastically, especially when it comes to politics.

Today on the saddening occasion of 100th centenary of gruesome Jallian Wala Bagh Massacre of 1919, President of Indian National Congress, Rahul Gandhi was in Punjab to pay homage to the martyrs.

Gandhi visited the holy city of Amritsar, and also visited historic golden temple.

Elections are just around the block so no one wanted to let go off this occasion to attract masses towards them.

Seeking support from Punjabis, Cabinet Minister of India, Harsimrat Kaur Badal, in a series of tweets tried confronting Captain Amarinder Singh.

Her first tweet reads:

“@capt_amarinder is seeking apology from British Govt for #JallianwalaBaghMassacre. What about an apology from Gandhis for #OperationBlueStar ?”

Then she again tweeted queried tweeting:

“Pb (Punjab) CM capt_amarinder (Captain Amarinder Singh) took @RahulGandhi to Sri Akal Takht Sahib but lacked courage to ask him admit the INC (Indian National Congress) sin of demolishing Sikhs’ highest religio-temporal seat with tanks & mortars. What a contrast with demand for British apology for #JallianwalaBaghMassacre!”

This rattled up Captain and he replied with a tweet,

“Did you, your husband @officeofssbadal (Sukhbir Singh Badal) or his father, Prakash Singh Badal, ever apologise for your great grandfather, Sardar Sunder Singh Majithia’s lavish dinner to Gen Dyer on the day of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre? He was later knighted in 1926 for his loyalty and his deeds.”

Now this tweet by the Chief Minister of Punjab has started a new debate in the politics of Punjab. Actually this matter previously has started a debate too.

Back then, the verbal spat was between Punjab Local Bodies Minister, Navjot Singh Sidhu, and senior leader of Shiromani Akali Dal, Bikram Singh Majithia.
