WhatsApp was the only social messaging service which had no advertisements.
As per verdict given by WhatsApp’s Vice President ‘Chris Daniels’, the mobile socializing app will have advertisements in “Status” facet.
However, there is no deadline given as such by the speaker.

In the ‘Status’ feature of this instant messager, a user can share text, personal videos, photos and animated GIFs.
These pictures, texts, videos recede from view within 24 hours.
The main goal after monetising the app is advertisements will help users to conceptualize and take part in business.
