Killing three, injuring 18 workers and dozens or may be more buried in the rubble a building that was still under construction collapsed in Cambodia’s coastal city of Sihanoukville.
At a Cambodian beach resort, the seven-floor building owned by a Chinese company, collapsed with workers inside.
The National Police informed on its website saying, “The incident happened at about 5:00 a.m. local time in commune 4 in Sihanoukville.”
According to local authorities, the building was constructed on the parcel of 15 meters by 30 meters, and about 80 percent of the construction was completed.
Photos showed excavators digging into the flattened debris in the search for dozens of other workers feared trapped inside.
Governor of Preah Sihanouk province, Yun Min said, “We have pulled out a body and we see two more bodies still stuck between debris.”
