A woman was left alone in dark hours on Air Canada plane after she fell asleep during a flight from Quebec to Toronto on June 9.
Air Canada passenger Tiffani Adams said the aircraft was parked when she woke up and she was freezing cold.
Since the incident took place, she experienced “reoccurring night terrors,” said Adams.
Confirming the incident, Air Canada said it is investigating.
Sharing on Facebook, Ms Adams said that she woke up “around midnight [a few hours after the flight landed] freezing cold still trapped in my seat in complete darkness”, adding that the experience was “terrifying”.
Adam however managed to call Deanna Dale, her friend and let her know where she was when her phone’s battery died within 60 seconds into the call. As the plane was shut down, she was unable to charge the phone.

Adams’ friend dale called Toronto Pearson Airport and told them about the whereabouts of Adams.
While on board, Adams however managed to find a torch in the plane’s cockpit and tried to draw attention.
A luggage cart operator found Ms Adams.
Adams said that Air Canada staff offered a limousine and a hotel but she refused and wanted to go back home as soon as possible.
Air Canada confirmed the story of Adams and said it was investigating the incident.
