Canada is all set to celebrate its 152nd birthday with fireworks and military aircraft today
The military will soar high above revelers From Nova Scotia westward to British Columbia celebrating Canada Day.
A range of aircraft including Hercules transports, helicopters, and fighter jets will be showcased by the military.
As part of the festivities in Ottawa, the Snowbirds are set for a fly-past of the Parliament buildings in the capital of nation.
The Strumbellas, Alan Doyle and Coeur de Pirate – headline the leisure on Parliament Hill.
The country’s premier fireworks will be displayed around 10 pm once the sun goes down the Parliament Hill.
On the occasion of Canada day, Governor General Julie Payette says that she hopes Canadians get out and about regardless of the weather to hike, to celebrate and to watch the fireworks.
“We are a land of four solid seasons and it is not a little rain or a little snow that will stop us,” Governor General Julie said.
