Fatehveer Cremated Following Six Day Struggle In Borewell

Two-year-old boy, who fell into 150 feet borewell, has been cremated at Baghwanpur village in Sangrur district, Punjab.

Fatehveer Singh’s mortal was handed over to the family after the post mortem.

Singh was declared dead after being pulled out this morning (Day 6) by the rescue teams.

Villagers held a protest and blocked the Sunam-Mansa road after the resue mission to save the two-year-old innocent toddler Fatehveer Singh failed.

After the villagers blamed the district administration for not being able to bring out the child even after five days, Sangrur’s Deputy Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner S P. has apologized for admitting their faults in delay of retrieving the child.
