Team India defeated West Indies by 125 runs in ICC World Cup match at Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Manchester on Thursday, 27 June.

This is India’s fifth win in six games, with one-wash out. India scored 268/7 in their first innings while West Indies scored 143 runs in 34.2 overs with all out.
India had two half centuries from MS Dhoni and Kohli and a fine knock from Hardik Pandya.
West Indies had expectations from Chris Gayle and Shai Hope but when they departed early, there was hardly anything left.
Team India moved up to second in the standings with 11 points in their kitty.
India captain Virat Kohli was named Man of the Match.
Three teams have been knocked out of the 2019 ICC World Cup – first Afghanistan, then South Africa, now West Indies.
There are still three spots up for grabs after Australia – though India and New Zealand about have one leg in the semi-final.
