Mission Mangal Trailer 2: Akshay Kumar Bows to Vidya
The second trailer of Mission Mangal is out, which once again proves that “the sky is not the limit” for Akshay Kumar and his team of scientists. While Akshay Kumar takes centre stage in the trailer, the women in ‘Mission Mangal’ are leading the show. Vidya Balan, who can be seen playing a significant character, is the one to live up Akshay’s spirits with crazy ideas. With a motto- “Anything is possible”, Tara Shinde (Vidya) is the Project Director. Tara, who believes that even an auto can go to mars, comes up with the plan of using the parts of their stalled “Chandrayaan 2” project in the Mars Mission to utilize their materials. In reply to her no waste scheme, Akshay says to his senior, “Women sir, raat ka khaana bach jaye toh subha tadka lgake nashte mai de do” (Women can use last night’s leftovers for breakfast by adding some spices). Akshay Kumar touches Vidya Ballan’s feet, to which she hesitantly says, “Sir, what are you doing, sir.” When asked that being a scientist why she believes in God, Vidya (Tara Shinde) says, “I believe in God because there is a power beyond science.” ‘Mission Mangal’ based on India’s Mars Orbiter Mission stars Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Kriti Kulhari and Nithya Menen along with Akshay Kumar as the male lead.
