Canada media reported a fiery crash in Vancouver near the Deltaport container terminal.
As per media reports, the accident forced emergency crews to shut down the causeway to the terminal, preventing any other vehicles from coming or going and creating a backup of commercial trucks that stretched for kilometers.
“The investigation remains ongoing as to the cause of this crash, and police will not be commenting on this time on possible factors involved,” the Delta Police Department said in a statement.
As police conducted what they described as a complex investigation into the crash, that part of Deltaport Way remained closed for about 17 hours.
After the investigation, officials just revealed that the Semi-truck driver killed in fiery crash was Surrey resident and his family has been notified of the tragedy.
But later on the victim of the Delta Semi fatal was identified as 37 year old, Rajwinder Singh from Punjab.
Punjabi truck driver was burnt alive as two trucks collided at delta port.
Rajwinder Singh was going to Delta Port and suddenly a truck coming from opposite direction crashed into Singh’s truck leaving his on flames.
The door of the truck got jammed because of the collision and Rajwinder got stuck inside.
