Punjabi Youth From Mohali Drowns In Canada
Just after landing 15 back in Canada, Rupesh Narula, aka Ruby, a 25-year-old resident of Phase VII, Mohali, died while celebrating Canada Day at Bluffers Park Beach at Scarborough, Toronto. Rupesh, who got married about three months ago, had left for Canada on June 20 and his wife was to leave for Canada in July. Prince George, Royal Canadian Mounted Police said that on July 1 they received a report of a man that went underwater but was pulled from the lake by the public and an automated external defibrillator was also used until paramedics could arrive on the scene. Rupesh was subsequently transported to a local hospital where several efforts were made to revive him that ended up being unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead. Bhavesh Narula, brother of Rupesh, said that his brother migrated to Canada three years ago and had gone to celebrate Canada Day. The reports claim that Rupesh went alone in water but he was not the one to take such bold move. So, we demand of a proper investigation to know about the real reason behind Rupesh’s death.
