A total of 12 Indians died in the horrific bus crash in Dubai that claimed 17 lives in total.
The Consulate General of India (CGI) in Dubai confirmed the total death toll of Indians via his twitter handle along with the list of Indians who died in the fatal accident.
Dubai Police confirmed that a bus carrying 31 holiday makers crashed into a sign on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road.
People of different nationalities on board were returning from Oman after Eid Holiday.
It is yet to reveal that what caused the bus driver to hit the sign.
According to Dubai media reports, currently two people are still being treated at the Rashid Hospital in Dubai and six people couldn’t be identified due to their severe injuries.
External Affairs Minister of India Dr. S. Jaishankar also expressed his condolences, “Deeply grieved by the unfortunate bus accident in Dubai that has claimed 12 Indian lives. My sincere condolences to the families. Our Consulate is extending all help.”

Dubai Police expressed its condolences on Twitter, “The General Directorate of Dubai Police extends its sincere condolences to the families of the deceased who were involved in a bus crash at Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, which killed 17 passengers.”
