A 15-year-old boy allegedly killed his 19-year-old brother for scolding him to stop playing PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds is an online multi-player battle royale game) on his mobile phone, Maharashtra police said.
Senior police inspector Mamata D’Souza said that the boy in Thane district of Maharashtra into rage when his elder brother and victim, Mohammad Shaikh scolded him over playing game on his mobile phone this morning.
Mumbai boy allegedly banged Shaikh’s head against the wall and stabbed him with scissors, the police officer said.
Shaikh was taken to a government hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Police has registered a case under IPC (Indian Penal Code) section 302 (Punishment for murder), D’Souza said.
