“The House Refused To Declare Bhagat Singh Martyr”: Bains

Today’s budget session of Punjab Vidhan Sabha started with a boom when first, Shiromani Akali Dal, then Aam Adami Party and finally Lok Insaaf Party stormed the house with multiple very good points. Kicking start a new controversy, today Lok Insaaf Party’s head, Simarjit Singh Bains proposed in the house that freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh, Kartar Singh Saraba, Rajguru and Sukhdev shall now officially be given the status of Martyrs by central government. Bains after raising the point in the house stormed out of the Vidhan Sabha and in front of media claimed that, Cabinet Minister Brahm Mohindra while tackling this issue he raised argued that the whole country knows about these freedom fighters’ greatness, so there is no need of an official title. “I asked him, whole state knows you too Brahm Mohindra ji, why did Punjab Government make you Minister? What do you have against it, if we will write to Delhi (central) government regarding this matter?” asserted Bains. He also claimed that he and his political party shall soon corner Punjab’s Captain Amarinder Singh government regarding the issues of Punjab’s waters. Simarjit Singh Bains in his statement said that the law and order is failing miserably exposed with the latest back to back gang rapes in the state. Singh suggested, “Captain Amarinder Singh should shift the burden of Home Ministry to any other loyalist of his as he clearly doesn’t has time for it.”
