Was it aliens or the military?
A man has filmed a fleet of glowing lights (like a UFO) above the “middle of the ocean” off North Carolina’s Outer Banks.
The lightning has ignited a debate about whether they are honest-to-goodness UFOs or just part of a secret military exercise.
The 31-second video is posted by an independent Youtube user William Guy and says ‘REAL UFO SIGHTING!!!!’.
According to reports, William Guy was on board a ferry in North Carolina, in the USA, when he spotted the weird unexplained items in the sky.
As he pans the camera phone across the skyline, the guy says, “Look, nothing in the sky at all”.
He then adds: “Can anybody tell me what that is? We’re in the middle of the ocean, on a ferry. Look no land, no nothing.”
While others on the boat can be heard saying: “You only see this stuff on TV.”
The lights appeared for at least a minute and a half before vanishing.
The video has been gained more than 17000 views on Youtube.
Some commenters on YouTube think it is a fleet of UFOs, while others speculate this can be flares used by the military.
Just a month ago, UFO videos that were not meant to be made public were confirmed as ‘REAL’ by the US Navy.
